La Zia Berta is a small family farm and agritourism business in Saioli di Olcio, a hamlet of Mandello del Lario, located right along the Sentiero del Viandante.
Travelers can choose whether to stay overnight in one of the rooms available at the facility, or to pitch their tent for a night under the stars (possibility of using the farmhouse bathroom).
For dinner, the “Wayfarer’s Menu” is available with typical dishes of Lake Como traditional cuisine.
Upon request, travelers can book a packed lunch (products subject to availability).

Guests can reach the farmhouse on foot or by booking a ride!
Below are the directions to reach us:
Recommended route: from Lierna Via Bree.
Set the navigator: via Bree -Lierna (do not set as the shortest route).
Once you arrive in via Bree you will see a parking P and a triangular traffic island.
Take the descent on your right.
You will arrive at the Mugiasco wash house (wash house covered with yellow walls).
Park.
TO CONTINUE ON FOOT
From the car park of the Muggiasco wash house, take the unpaved agro-silvo-pastoral road, travel for the first 50 meters or so, turn right, leaving a stream behind you to continue along a steep slope, marked as PATH N. 75 red white red flag – path of the wayfarer.
At the end of the bowl there is the first crossroads, continue keeping to the right (path no. 75 red white red flag).
About 20 meters further on you will find yourself near a second crossroads; continue keeping left, going up a herringbone concrete slope, MARKED with the n. 75 red white red flag – wayfarer’s path.
NOW you will always have to keep to the main and widest road. (Publicable and marked by the red white red flag no. 75).
Near Zia Berta you will find yourself with the highway on the left, continue. AFTER about 5 minutes on the right a fence with round chestnut wood poles, in the ground you will notice a pile of wood covered by a white cloth.
At the end of this fence there is the entrance to the farmhouse: gray gate; farm sign.
