the building is very old, as evidenced by the lancet windows and the gabled roof; the presbytery, with its cross-vaulted ceiling, was added in the 15th century and contains interesting paintings, including a Crucifixion with San Martino and San Rocco and a Virgin Enthroned. The church used to be flanked by a “Cattaverna” – a refreshment point used by pilgrims and travellers when passing through.
