The church is on the cantonal road in the old centre of Piazza. First documented in 1419 and extended in the 17th century, it is built on a plain longitudinal plan with a square choir. The hexagonal fountain in the parvis dates from 1869. Also of interest are the fragment of a mural from the mid-1300s (Giottesque painting) and the late 16th-century Last Supper after the style of Leonardo.
