From Cernusco sul Naviglio on the outskirts of Milan, the route follows the equipped cycle / pedestrian path of the Naviglio Martesana. The pedestrian and cycle path is equipped with rest areas, fountains and parks. Along the route there are information panels of the Navigli System of all points of interest that are located along the watercourse. Once in Cassina de Pomm the towpath ends and cross Milan along Viale M. Gioia to arrive at the spectacular Piazza Gae Aulenti, one of the new symbols of the city. Walking along some of the most characteristic streets of the historic center, such as Corso Garibaldi, Via Solferino and Via Brera, you reach the Duomo.
